The antropological aspect of virtual reality

The information society gives a person great opportunities, but also puts him in front of many temptations and threats. In the introductory part of the article, the author notes the relevance of the use and influence of virtual reality in the life of a modern person. Next, the concept of «virtual reality» is analyzed, and various factors that affect the degree of realism of the virtual space are indicated. Examples of some modern multifunctional devices that have the technical ability to detect body movements are given. The author notes that with such a hypertrophy of the impact on human organs and feelings, there may be an increased irritation of the passions rooted in the soul. Such an anthropological aspect can have a detrimental effect on the organization of a person's spiritual life. An important feature of virtual reality in the modern world is also noted, which is easy accessibility and round-the-clock access to games, media content, and social media.
