The article provides an overview of the key events in the life of the Holy Blessed Grand Prince Alexander Nevsky in a historical context. The author emphasizes that the reign of the prince fell on a critical era, and Russia owes his wise decisions to the preservation of the originality of the Slavic civilization and national spiritual culture. It is necessary for the fundamental moral and spiritual values of Orthodoxy, defended by the Holy Prince Alexander Nevsky, to firmly establish themselves in the consciousness and in the daily actions of the citizens of the Russian Federation, in the life of the modern family, society and state.
