The new miracle of St. Pitirim of Tambov In 2013, the Tambov Metropolis received a message from the Republic of Montenegro that in the sacristy of the church in honor of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker in the city of Kotor, located within the diocese headed by Metropolitan Amphilochius (Radovich) of Montenegro (Serbian Orthodox Church), a sacred relic is kept - an altar silver cross made by during the years of St. Pitirim's administration of the Tambov diocese. The cross, like every relic associated with the name of St. Pitirim, is very dear to believers and is important for the history and culture of the Tambov region. The article tells about the finding of the shrine, as well as examines the inscriptions on the cross, provides hypotheses about how the shrine ended up in the city of Kotor.
