Attention! Manuscripts of articles created using artificial intelligence (in whole or in part) are not accepted for publication.

We invite authors to submit materials to our journal.

There are two ways to do this:

1. Send to the e-mail of the scientific journal: tdsnauka@yandex.ru

2. Submit your materials using the electronic editorial office (the option "Send an article) of the journal "Theological Collection of the Tambov Theological Seminary", having previously registered on the journal's website.

All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.

Theology and religious philosophy

Theology and religious philosophy — corresponds to the scientific specialties 5.11.1 Theoretical theology and 5.11.2 Historical theology (in the direction of "Orthodoxy"). The section includes scientific research on dogmatic, moral, comparative, patristic theology, religious philosophy, religious studies, Christian anthropology, apologetics; articles devoted to the theological understanding of the state of natural, social and humanitarian sciences.

Historical Theology and National History

Historical Theology and National History — corresponds to the scientific specialties 5.11.2 Historical Theology (in the field of study «Orthodoxy») and 5.6.1 National History. The section publishes articles on national history, biblical studies, biblical history, patrology; works devoted to the history of the Orthodox Church and Christian churches, questions of the methodology of church-historical knowledge, as well as the history of the formation and development of the Tambov diocese.

Church-practical sciences

Church-Practical Sciences — corresponds to the scientific specialty 5.11.3 Practical Theology (in the field of study «Orthodoxy»). The section includes studies on liturgy, pastoral theology, canon law, history, theory and methodology of Christian education, church art; works related to practical issues of catechesis and missionary activity, social service, interfaith and church-state relations.

Spiritual Literature

Spiritual Literature — corresponds to scientific specialties:

5.11.2 Historical Theology (in the field of study «Orthodoxy») — articles on hermeneutics and textual criticism, hagiology, hagiography;

5.11.3 Practical theology (in the direction of «Orthodoxy») — studies on homiletics, hymnography, as well as those devoted to a multidimensional analysis of the linguistic features of liturgical texts;

5.9.1 Russian Literature and Literature of the Peoples of the Russian Federation — linguo-stylistic, rhetorical, literary analysis of works of spiritual and fiction in the context of the Orthodox tradition and culture.
