Intertextual connections of the prophecies of the Old Testament and the testimonies of the New Testament about the Resurrection of Christ

The article is devoted to the issue of revealing the intertextual connections between the prophecies of the Old Testament and the testimonies of the New Testament about the Resurrection of Christ. With the help of reminiscences and allusions as forms of intertextual connections, the author shows that it is in the New Testament that truths are revealed, to the knowledge of which the spiritual quests and aspirations of all Old Testament authors were directed. The work focuses on the fact that without knowledge of the Old Testament texts, their ideological and figurative ranges, a lot of things in the books of the New Testament remain incomprehensible. Jesus Christ and His disciples repeatedly urged people to study the Holy Scriptures in order to correctly comprehend the events of our time. The Old and New Testaments are parts of a single whole - the revelation of God given to mankind. With the help of linguistic interpretation of the text, contextual and comparative methods, the intertextual connections of the prophecies of the Old Testament and the evidence of the New Testament, generalized by the fact of the Resurrection of Christ, a fundamental component of the preaching of the Christian dogma, were systematized and revealed.
