Based on information obtained from a questionnaire, this paper analyzes the attitude towards death and euthanasia among 120 medical students and practicing doctors. It was established that the respondents had almost no involvement in religious life. This contributes to shaping secular attitudes towards euthanasia, its acceptance, up to the willingness to assist in the performance of euthanasia. As a result, the author substantiates the necessity of teaching the courses Biomedical Ethics and Palliative Medicine in the Orthodox tradition.
