Abstract

The article deals with alternative terminology, namely, such a concept as quasi-religion. This concept should be used in modern theological discourse as appropriate and adequate in the study of religion-like phenomena. This alternative terminology is required to replace the established approach that defines all religionlike phenomena as destructive cults and totalitarian sects or as NRMs.
