Testing of modern educational technologies within the framework of the course “The Holy Scripture of the New Testament” (Section “Epistles of the Apostle Paul”)

This article is devoted to the testing of modern educational technologies in the theological school. The relevance of the stated topic is due to the need for the educational process in seminaries to meet the requirements of modern educational standards and the demands of modern society. This topic is also relevant because theological educational institutions have a number of specific features and traditions, while the educational standard called “Theology” has been in the domestic education system for less than 10 years. During this period and up to the present, new elements of the educational environment are being developed and tested in seminaries. In the work, the author emphasizes the current difficulties in mastering the undergraduate program, such as systematization and generalization of the knowledge gained by the student, the effective use of skills and abilities in the course of performing practical tasks, as well as solving the enduring problem of motivation and involvement of students in the educational
process. The author analyzes the experience of using modern educational technologies in Saratov Orthodox Theological Seminary and draws conclusions about the possibility of their use in the implementation of the “Theology” program. In this study, the following scientific methods and approaches are used: analysis, comparison, generalization, actualization, critical-analytical
approach.
