Tambov Theological Seminary. Brief historical background

Abstract

Tambov Theological Seminary has a rich history. In the XIX – early XX century, it was a cultural, spiritual and educational center of the Tambov province. In 1918, the Tambov Theological Seminary was closed and did not operate for almost three quarters of a century. The article provides a brief history of the Tambov Higher theological School, as well as the path of its revival.
