Abstract

The article is devoted to the formation of the Orthodox system of pedagogical views in the theological legacy of Archpriest Vasily Zenkovsky. The basis of Archpriest Vasily Zenkovsky's pedagogical views is the understanding of the importance of the integrity of the child's personality, which can only be formed within the framework of the system of Christian values. The intuitive integration into the atmosphere of religious worldview, the creation of pedagogical conditions for optimizing such integration is one of the most important tasks of Orthodox pedagogy. In the light of eschatological approaches, Christian pedagogy appears in a completely different light, in a different context of the absolute meaning of such concepts as repentance, humility, and transformation.
