Abstract

The article describes the relationship between the Russian Orthodox Church and the state power of the USSR during the Great Patriotic War;spiritual and patriotic feat of the Tambov priesthood and flock.It provides information on charitable donations and gatherings held by the clergy and people of Tambov region in favor of the Red Army.The firmness of faith and the determination of further church service of the Tambov front-line soldiers are shown.
