Orthodox understanding of personal liberty in the modern world

The article is devoted to the Orthodox understanding of the problem of personal liberty. The author considers the concept of liberty from a modern point of view. The main types of liberty are formulated. The fundamental Christian position in relation to external liberties is revealed. An attempt has been made to reveal the essence of a person’s spiritual freedom and the way to gain it.
