The article is devoted to the events that took place in the Tambov diocese during the difficult revolutionary and post-revolutionary years. The author draws the readers' attention to the gradual change in the attitude of the clergy to revolutionary reforms, notes the peculiarities of the acceptance of the February and October revolutions by the Tambov clergy.
