Abstract

The name of the outstanding hierarch of the Orthodox Church, learned theologian and man of prayer, Archbishop Mikhail (Chuba, f 1985) is well known not only in the Tambov diocese and not only in Russia, but also beyond its borders. With his multifaceted activities, he left a bright mark in history, science and earned respect in the hearts of people. The author of the memoirs had the opportunity to attend not only festive services, to see and hear the God-wise elder, but also to be personally acquainted with him, to be among his novices: first as a subdeacon, then as a deacon and, finally, as a priest. The author offers his memories of Archbishop Mikhail (Chuba) to the readers of the collection.
