The article is devoted to the problems of religious and moral education of children, described in the pedagogical works of Hieromartyr Vladimir (Bogoyavlensky), Metropolitan of Kiev and Galicia. The author consistently focuses on the role of the father and mother in the spiritual growth of the child, and also formulates the concept of Metropolitan Vladimir on mouldinng the most important Christian virtues with children. In conclusion, the relevance of these instructions for the revival of family education traditions is emphasized.
