Modern global problems as a consequence of apostasy

The article deals with the global problems of our time as generated by man and society, who have lost faith in God and therefore spiritually weakened. Today, public consciousness is dominated by a picture of the world, according to which the world exists on its own, and the theory of evolution fullybexplains its origin and development. According to this picture, God is notbthe Creator of the world, its Founder and Savior. The work focuses on the fact that liberal values dominate in the modern world, actively opposing religious values and displacing the latter from public consciousness. The idea is actualized that from the position of Christian theology there is only one global problem – the fall of faith, the impoverishment of the spirituality of man and the world. All problems facing man arise as a result of his violation of the commandments and his resistance to God’s will. The author summarizes: apostasy is an internal cause of both the emergence of global problems and their deepening; the architects of the new world order, in turn, replicate and spread these problems by means of globalization, turning them into exports and threats to humanity. Orthodox theology reveals the deep content of modern global problems and proves that these problems at this stage of the historical development of mankind are practically insoluble without the restoration of unity with God and the spiritualization of modern reality.
