The poetics of spiritual prose of Saint Ignatius (Brianchaninov) on the example of his short stories The Garden during Winter and Dew

The article deals with the poetics of lyrical and philosophical short stories by Saint Ignatius (Brianchaninov) Dew and The Garden during Winter. With the help of linguistic, stylistic and literary analysis, an attempt is made to consider the peculiarities of the style, the figurative structure, the metaphorical nature of the language, the compositional organization and the ideological basis of Saint Ignatius's short stories. The figurativeness of speech and painting with words in the stories are analyzed by the author of the article from the standpoint of antinomy, which gives the result of a special understanding of the associatively related concepts, images, and phenomena.
