Abstract

The Article is devoted to one of the outstanding figures of the Russian Orthodox Church of the 20th century, Metropolitan Manuil (Lemeshevsky), the author of the work «Russian Orthodox hierarchs of the period between 1893 and 1965» in 6 volumes, the spiritual father of Metropolitan John (Snychev) of Leningrad. It is also devoted to the second Chairman of the Tambov Scientific Archive Commission, Alexey Nikolaevich Nortsov, who was also a world famous occultist.
