Secular pseudo-criticism of religious worldview as a factor of existential and social instability. Part 1

The relevance of the study is determined by the centuries-old polemics of secular and religious consciousness, which acts as a destabilizing factor in social development. The object of the study is pseudo-criticism of the basic principles of the religious worldview from the side of non-religious, or secular, consciousness. The subject of the study is religious education, the deficit of which, unlike, for example, scientific education, is acutely experienced by modern Russian society. The purpose of the work is to prove that criticism of the religious worldview from the side of secular consciousness is pseudo-criticism. The research methods used are empirical generalization, pedagogical and social observation, comparative analysis and thought experiment, inferences by analogy, deductively and inductively constructed conclusions. This article is the first part of the work, which addresses the widespread misconceptions that 1) there is no evidence in favor of the existence of the supernatural world, since it is supersensible, as indicated by firmly established facts underlying science, which has always opposed religion and fought against it; 2) the scientific worldview is opposed to the religious one, and it is virtually impossible to believe in the supernatural in the era of unprecedented modern scientific and technological progress; 3) religion requires obedience and submission from a person, limits their freedom and violates their rights, while religious commandments are a system of prohibitions. The basis for the listed misconceptions can hardly be considered only the ideological heritage of a bygone secular era. In this regard, the author substantiates the need for the development of religious public education in society as an important factor in personal and social sustainable development.
