Greek Language as the Basis of the Cultural Code for the Development of Civilizations (based on the works by F.F. Zielinski)

The article analyzes the views of a prominent Russian scientist, antiquity researcher F.F. Zielinski. In his research, the author of the article draws attention to the idea of the relationship between study of ancient languages and cultural Renaissance of the Slavs which was supported by F.F. Zielinski. This refers to influence of studying ancient languages on the intellectual component of the nation. The author of the article concludes that the professor underestimated the importance of the early Christian heritage for the development of society.
