The Psalter as an Educational (Didactic) Book: Analysis of the Prospects for its Use in Modern School

The article provides reasoning for the interpretation of the Psalms as a textbook with pedagogical, upbringing and educational potential. The author examines the possibilities of studying the Psalms based on the artistic vision of poets of the 18th-19th centuries, whose translations are included in programs of a number of disciplines, primarily, “Fundamentals of Orthodox Culture”.
